"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader."

Guang Jin Achieves Dreams and Makes Them Come True
Guang Jin imagined herself working in the world of industry and chose the only university in the nation that offered a doctorate degree in industrial technology.
Since graduating from UNI in 1995, she has steadily advanced in her career to her current leadership position at John Deere. She is also a member of the UNI Foundation Board of Trustees.
To help students and faculty at UNI, Guang Jin and her husband, Frank Ju, established two funds:
- Dr. Guang Jin and Dr. Zifan Ju Industrial Technology Faculty Development Fund
- Dr. Guang Jin and Dr. Zifan Ju Industrial Technology Undergraduate Research Assistantship
"We've seen the connection between industry and higher education grow over the years, and we've seen more graduates join industry and they are doing very well," Guang Jin says. "To continue that momentum, we imagine faculty and students advancing their skills through professional development and undergraduate research."
